Delete your Ikat data

You can delete everything Ikat has stored about you, at any time, without asking us. There is no waiting period and no confirmation step beyond the one in the app.

If you still have the app — this is instant

Open Ikat.
Tap the gear icon on the home screen.
Scroll to Delete my data and confirm.

Your data is erased on our servers and on the device, and the app closes. This is the preferred route: it proves you are the account holder, so nothing has to be verified by hand.

If you have already uninstalled the app

Email contact@seed42.games with the subject Delete my Ikat data, and include your deletion code — it looks like IKAT-7K2M-4QP9.

You will find it in the app under Profile, at the bottom, with a button to copy it. It is worth saving somewhere before you uninstall.

If you no longer have the code we may not be able to act on the request. That is not obstruction, and we are not withholding anything: the code is the only thing that ties a request to an account, because Ikat asks for no name, email address or phone number, and we cannot delete one person's data on the say-so of another. Email us anyway and we will do what we can.

We reply within 30 days, and in practice much sooner.

What gets deleted

Your account itself (the sign-in record).
Your saved progress, coins, inventory and unlocked Colorways.
Your level drafts — levels you made but never published.
Your scores, best times, ratings, leaderboard entry and league membership.
Your badges, quests and profile.

What survives, and why

Levels you published to the community are kept, with your name removed from them.

This is deliberate. Other players' clears, times, ratings and staked coins hang off a published level, and deleting it would erase their history to tidy up ours. What is left behind carries no name and no way back to you: the internal id it keeps is a join key whose account no longer exists.

If you want a published level taken down as well, say so in your email and we will remove it.

What we never had

Ikat has no registration, and asks for no name, email address, phone number or contacts. Playing offline creates no account at all. If you never signed in, there is nothing stored about you on our servers to delete.
